The Future Places Project Windshield Survey, conducted in 2020, was completed to support the Office of Design’s future research and survey planning for the City. With 242 officially recognized neighborhoods within the city limits, the Office of Design needed an analysis of which areas or neighborhoods lack publicly accessible or formal archival information and have no previous comprehensive field surveys, yet have the potential to be considered historically significant.
